SHIELD Illinois, a non-profit unit of the University of Illinois System, was established in 2020 as a response to the COVID-19 pandemic. Our saliva-based PCR testing program has been working to control the spread of COVID-19, keep schools open, protect workplaces, and save lives. So far, we have partnered with over 1,900 locations across the state and have processed over 7 million tests.

As the sole Visiting Graphic Designer and Animator, my primary responsibility was to design and animate a variety of marketing materials for SHIELD Illinois. These materials included flyers, instructions, advertisements, and branding assets. Additionally, I created digital designs for social media, internal and external email marketing campaigns, as well as presentations to help partners understand the SHIELD Illinois program.
